Why should you get to know Fabien?
Friends have described me as good-natured, empathic, sensitive, intelligent and attractive, to which I would add demonstrative and affectionate. Wow, I sound great! Take it with a pinch of salt, if you think someone's flawless it's obvious you just don't know them well enough.
I want what I think everyone wants out of life, happiness. Thing is, I don't buy the idea that I can consume my way to it. Could use help with that. Friendship, intimacy, laughter, learning (being stretched), meaning, autonomy, self-respect and a little boy called Reuben are some of the most important things to me.
My idea of happiness is to belong and personal integrity is an important part of that I believe. I'm working on it.
My favourite place would be home, to me a state rather than a place.
My idea of a great time would be good food, wine and music, in good company. I enjoy cooking, but not so much when it's just for myself. I like going clubbing, to hear my DJ friends play at the odd Breakbeat night and dance the night away.
I want to improve my life by learning. Learning more about this world, about other people/cultures (though not a cultural relativist) and about myself. The last of those requires a certain degree of self-awareness, which I like to think I'm cultivating. I also want to become better at whatever I do and meaning is hugely important to me.
Not motivated by money or achieving high social status, though I like being able to afford the finer things in life.

Trust is paramount, I wouldn't settle for being with anything less than a genuine, trustworthy person. Hope I'm not being too demanding, I don't expect perfection either. Also, physical chemistry is a must for me - If I don't fancy you, what's the point? That said, you can never have too many friends.
