Why should you get to know djw12?
Ok, i have to admit this part is more difficult than i thought it would be. I've taken a straw poll of friends and those who didn't laugh themselves silly at my attempt to fish for compliments said that i was kind, thoughtful, reasonably intelligent (thanks!), witty, generous (in that i don't skulk at the rear of the queue for the drinks at the bar), outspoken (true when i'm passionate about something) and technologically challenged. The latter is a little unfair but i am having some difficulty putting up a photo at the moment.
I was going to go onto the guys' site and look for inspiration but having realised that GS records who views your profile, well ...
I like, in no particular order, cinema, theatre, drinks with friends (vodka tonic as a rule), eating in/out, rugby union (more watching than playing but i do turn out now and then when i've ran out of excuses), getting out on the bike, running, the gym, a good book, time with my family, early sunday mornings with a newspaper, tea and toast, a good debate, chess, too much coffee, poker nights (but i'm not a gambler), city breaks, interesting holidays, long weekends, real snow, a roaring fire, moonlight, rain storms and much much more
So, i find myself single. It's not what i had in mind at this time of my life but having taken 6 months out for a spell of reflection i find that i'm ready to have some fun and adventures again.
I'm looking for a friend, a companion, a life partner perhaps. Someone who, when it all boils down, knows that its about being happy & having someone to share the memories.
He describes his ideal match thus:
In the event that Carla Bruni is still spoken for then someone who is kind, fun-loving and warm. She would be her own person but, like me, would like somebody to share the journey with.
