I am writing this as encouragement to those who have been internet dating for some time. I was on and off soulmates for over two years and went on over 20 dates and while there were a few sparks and connections none came to anything more ... then one energy filled conversation led to a meeting on a wet January evening and things have not looked back. We have been together since then surviving the three hour journey to see each other every weekend. I am moving in with him this week... and I am so very happy. I was told several times that I was being fussy and 'things needed to develop' but I maintain that if I wasn't interested in seeing someone again after a date of a few hours then it was unlikely I would be able to spend my life with him. It is possible to meet someone who just fits so hang in there!
